A Night Of Hendrix

It hardly needs to be said that Jimi Hendrix has shaped the path of electric guitar playing in a way that no one had before or has since. Considering the debt owed to the legend that is Hendrix, Ron is now hosting ‘A Night With Hendrix’, where he will play all the favourite Jimi numbers in his own inimitable style with enough Hendrix flavour to keep the purists happy!

Ron has already Hendrix classics like Voodoo Chile, Little Wing, Foxey Lady, Hey Joe and Fire in his act for years. He will now be covering the more mellow ballads, The Wind Cries Mary & Bold As Love to rockers such as Purple Haze, Crosstown Traffic & Manic Depression. Not to mention the classic blues of Redhouse & Come On Part III.

The trio will also feature the considerable talents of the long-time Ron Sayer rhythm section Paul Wooden (drums) and Malcolm Jackson (bass).

This is not a ‘dress up, act like Hendrix & burn your guitar’ event, this is a from the heart interpretation for true fans in the spirit of Jimi Hendrix’ music!
